The company Merck employs 65000 people worldwide; it is one of the
five largest pharmaceutical companies in the world and a successful
developer of Metformin - Glucophage. Former American subsidiary of
Merck KGA group, it is autonomous since 1917 and no longer has any

compounds. Its name is Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy. The
company offers a wide range of prescription free drugs which are
highly respected in medical circles and are amongst the top most
health care products. These include vitamins, mineral supplements,
cold medication and natural plant and marine remedies. Metformin -
Glucophage is counted among the most recent successes in the field
of medicine.
